ECHO ("we") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when using the ECHO application ("the App").

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address provided during registration
• Profile Information: Nickname, avatar, and other information you choose to provide
• Payment and subscription information: Depending on the app version, region, and payment method you use, payment may be processed by Paddle, Alipay, app stores, or other third-party payment service providers. ECHO/EchoMate does not store complete card numbers or other sensitive payment information. The relevant third-party service participates only when you actually use that payment method.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Learning Data: Study time, shadowing count, word lookup records, etc.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version
• Usage Data: Feature usage, crash reports

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Videos you import are not uploaded to our servers
• Your shadowing recordings are stored locally on your device only

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• Process your subscriptions and payments
• Send you service-related notifications
• Analyze app usage to improve user experience
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and other harmful activities
• Comply with legal requirements

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services (such as cloud storage, payment processing, analytics) to operate the App. These service providers can only access your information when performing services for us.

8. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from within the App or by email. Open the App, go to Profile > Settings > Account Deletion, and send an account deletion request using your registered email address. You may also email support@adrianc.cc directly with the subject "ECHO Account Deletion Request". After receiving your request and verifying your identity, we will process the deletion within 15 business days and delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, unless retention is required by law or necessary for dispute resolution, security, or compliance obligations.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The App may use local storage and analytics tools to:

• Remember your login status and preferences
• Analyze app usage

10. Protection of Minors

If you are a minor, please use the service with consent and guidance from your parent or legal guardian. We only process minors' personal information as necessary to provide account services, learning record sync, membership benefits, and service security. We do not intentionally collect information from minors that is unrelated to the learning service. Parents or guardians may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or account deletion.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country/region. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

12. Third-Party Services

Depending on the features, app version, region, and payment method you use, the App may work with the following third-party service types:
